Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the mobile game and this website do with personal information. Contact support@meetopoly.website for privacy requests.

Account details: email address, a hashed password, username, and country.

Profile: an optional photo you upload.

Live session data while you are connected: Hub chat messages. Hub chat is delivered live and is not stored as a message history.

Purchases: entitlement records for style packs and perks, received from the app store. We do not receive your full card number.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not record voice or video. Microphone and camera are live and optional and only during an active game session.

We do not collect your device GPS location. “Locations” in the game are cities on a board, not where your phone is.

We use this information to create and protect your account, verify your email, run games and hubs, show your username and photo to other players, deliver purchases you make, and investigate abuse or cheating.

Apple and Google process purchases and they tell the game which style packs or perks your store account has unlocked. We do not receive your full card number.

Account and game records stay while your account is open. Hub chat and live voice or video are not kept after the session. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or detach the personal information we still hold, except where we must keep a record for security, fraud, or the law.

Passwords are stored as a hash, not as the password you type. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Meetopoly is not for anyone under 6 years old. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under that age. If you believe we have, contact support@meetopoly.website and we will delete the account.

Players join from different countries, and data may be stored or processed outside your country.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when we do.
